Love the quote Barbra – I see the moon and the moon sees me. Beautiful.

Thanks, Maria…it is actually just the first half of the quote, one my father taught me when I was wee. I refrained from the second half as it can be so misinterpreted by anyone who doesn’t know my context…”God bless the moon, and God bless me.” My own interpretation comes from my yoga tradition–I am not Christian, but the word “God” as synonymous with source, the infinite, or the Divine Mother is in my realm!

My friend Joanie taught me a little song when we were young: I see the moon, the moon sees me, the moon sees the one that I want to see. God bless the moon, and God bless me, and God bless the one that I want to see. I once had a heart so good and true, but now it’s gone from me to you, it picked you out from all the rest because it knew I loved you the best. I see the moon, the moon sees me, the moon sees the one that I want to see. God bless the moon, and God bless me, and God bless the one that I want to see.

I wish it wasn’t such a long drive to get to your full moon meditation. I’ll join you from afar.

Thanks, Annie, I had no idea the song went on that long! And, I wish I could see you in class, too. Mmm, perhaps a recording is in order.
