Yoga Teacher Exam: Day 3

 In Today's Lesson

My teacher, Yogarupa Rod Stryker, has said one should look for two things in a guru:

Humility and a sense of humor.

I say: exude these qualities while completing a 28 question, approximately 10,000 word at-home exam.

Yes, I’m mindful of offering “correct” and intelligent answers (hardly the sum total of what I’ve learned from the ParaYoga and Sri Vidya tradition), but who said serious answers have to be serious in tone?

Playful is who I am at my best, and how I best share myself while teaching. Sharing my voice while imparting the information is what brings it to life.

And bringing what we do, ourselves, and those around to life is…

it’s the Big Answer.

Here’s my treat for all of the testing: Homemade Basil Lemonade.
